Let’s face it, we ALL have our bad days, and when that happens we know our mojo isn’t at its best. But sometimes we give off negative energy when we don’t even know it. Here are some easy ways to tell if your vibes are less than stellar…
You Seem To Be Constantly Encountering Negative People: Like attracts like. In many ways the universe is a mirror, so when you find yourself surrounded by negative people regularly it’s a sure sign that your energy needs a tune up.
You Seem To Be Drawn Into Arguments Regularly: Arguments happen when people’s emotions rise higher than their communication skills. So if you find yourself getting irate with people, raising your voice often, reducing yourself to swearing or name calling; its definitely a sign you are giving off negative energy. Even if you aren’t participating and all this negativity is being directed at you, its still likely that you are giving off negative energy. Our energy affects those around us in subtle ways, so if you feel like everyone around you is a jerk…it might be your energy causing the bad feelings.
People Won’t Make Eye Contact With You: Our eyes are the windows to our souls. So if your friends and family are having trouble making eye contact, it is often an involuntary reaction to the energy you are emitting.
Friends Don’t Ask Your Advice Or Turn To You For Help: In any close relationship there is giving and receiving on both sides. Take a moment and think about your relationships. Are you always asking and they give? Or do they also ask and you give? When people don’t ask your opinion or advice, or for help is a sign that they don’t want your opinion, advice or help – often a sign that they have already decided that they already know what you will say and they don’t want to hear it.
You’re Always Tired: It’s hard to be a being of light and love when you are exhausted. When life is overwhelming, it’s often the time you are too tired to keep your energy up. You’ll find you are more short tempered, and irritable as well. It happens to everyone from time to time, but that energy will definitely emanate from you and others can tell.
What To Do: When you find yourself giving off negative vibes the best thing to do is to declare a personal ‘time out’.
