Reiki In -Person Sessions
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) means “Universal Life Energy”. The holistic technique is a gentle hands-on healing art. It moves natural energy through the body releasing blocked and stagnant energy. It also increases blood-flow, and relaxes muscles. Reiki helps to relieve tension and instills balance in body, mind and spirit. It also restores energy and aids the body in its ability to heal itself. It is often considered an excellent source of relief for people suffering from chronic pain.
Reiki Master: 1 hour session - $100+HST
Reiki Practitioner Level 2: 1 hour session - $90+HST

Reiki Training
Reiki is a wonderful alternative modality. It is a simple to learn non-manipulative relaxation massage that may assist in a wide variety of ways.
All classes are conducted by highly experienced Reiki Master, Barbara Ford
*Please be advised that Reiki is an Unregulated Modality, and there is no governing body that certifies Reiki Practitioners or Trainers in Canada.
Reiki Level 1, with Barbara Ford
Certificate Program (4 People Maximum)
What does Level One include?
Level one will introduce you to the history of Reiki and you will receive your first of three attunements. Much of the day will be spent learning the basic hand positions, and other introductory relevant information so that you may feel ready to conduct reiki sessions on other people, pets and yourself. Half of this training day is spent in theory discussions, and the other half in hands on practice. During this workshop, you will receive as well as give a reiki session observed by Barbara.

Reiki Level 2, with Barbara Ford
Certificate Program (4 People Maximum)
As a follow up to Reiki Level 1:
We will discuss symbols that can be incorporated into your sessions, including symbols for emotional reiki sessions and reiki distance symbols. We will also discuss more of the history of reiki, and work towards refining your skills further.
We will also explore Reiki Symbols and how they can enhance your practice.
In addition, you will receive your 2nd attunement.
As with the Reiki level 1, half of the day is spent in theory discussions, and half in practical hands on practise.
*Level 2 completes your Reiki training. Reiki Master Level is only needed if you intend to teach.
Handouts and a certificate of participation is included.
Please note: Level 1 and 10 case studies is a prerequisite. Please bring in a photocopy and contact info of your reiki master from level 1, 1 week prior to course if you did not take level 1 with Barbara.

Practical components of this indepth training include: Hand positions & symbols for all levels, Giving and receiving attunements, Practical instruction & presentation opportunities
Prerequisites: -Successful completion of Reiki Level 1 & 2. -Approximate 60 case studies completed with a wide variety of clients and health concerns. -A short interview with Barbara prior to registration is also a requirement to discuss your experiences and previous training as well as your goals for the Reiki Master Course.
Cost: $1,500 +HST per person. All materials will be provided, including a detailed 3-ring resource binder, master attunement and certificate of participation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Dates are chosen together to work with your schedule. Occurring 3-8 hours a month over several months.
